PEAK Education Centre — Nicosia
Our main educational hub: daily Greek and English classes, maths, creative workshops and life skills for refugee children and young people.

PEAK opened its doors in November 2025 as a safe, inclusive learning space for refugee, asylum-seeking and migrant children and young people — unaccompanied and with their families — living in shelters and in Cyprus's reception centres.
Every day we offer Greek and English classes, supported by the tablet-based Akelius Language Learning programme that complements classroom teaching; maths and homework support; creative workshops, educational games and recreational activities that build language, confidence and participation.
Psychosocial support runs through the whole programme: individual and group sessions, meetings with parents and guardians, and referrals to public services. Our aim is not only knowledge, but recovery from trauma and readiness for school and life in Cyprus.
Between November 2025 and August 2026, 354 children from 21 countries took part in our activities — in August alone, 258 attendances at recreational and 216 at educational activities.
