Outreach in reception centres and shelters
We go where the children are: Pournara, Kofinou, Limnes and shelters for unaccompanied minors — educational and recreational activities, workshops and information sessions.

Many children and families cannot come to Nicosia. So our teams visit the Pournara First Reception Centre — and its Safe Zone for unaccompanied minors — the Kofinou centre, the Limnes camp and the shelters for unaccompanied children on a regular basis.
There we run educational and recreational activities for accompanied and unaccompanied children, workshops and information sessions for adults, and connect families with PEAK and with public services.
This work bridges the gap between immediate humanitarian relief and lasting opportunity: learning, wellbeing and meaningful social contact from the first day in Cyprus.
